Finally Tied the Knot
So Adam and I got married on August 27th. It was a beautiful day.
We could not have asked for more perfect weather. I started my day out with a huge blueberry muffin, then I called my maid of honor and had her come pick up my son Julian so I could take a very needed nap before I started getting ready for my big day. Everything turned out so so so beautifully. A couple things didn't go as planned (like my maid of honor and the best man forgetting to grab our rings before the ceremony) but I really can't complain. It was still one of the the happiest days of my life.
The arch behind us in the picture was actually made by my husband. He spent hours rapping vines around the frame. He cut out the letters at the top and covered them in moss. We had a very limited budget so most every little detail was handmade. We spent hours crafting but I think that makes your wedding even more personal.
I wanted wild flowers at our reception. The night before the wedding my mother, my sisters, and I went out into the country and cut a ton of wild flowers. They turned out beautifully and were completely free.
I also so had my bridesmaid dresses made. The dress they were designed from was a 400 dollar dress. The girls only had to pay 100 dollars for the ones I had made and they looked absolutely perfect.
We also dyed the shoes that the girls wore. They all were originally the cream color.
This is just a small taste of all the little details. I am sure that I will be sharing more very very soon.

Jen Brill, I Love You
I have been a big admirer of Jen Brill AKA photographer T. Rex's little lady. Her style and presence is just something that I can not get enough of. She is a classy business women and hates being referred as an "it" girl. Although that is exactly what she is. A total socialite. How could you possibly date Terry Richardson and not expect to be called and anything but a sub culture crawling "it" girl. Even thought she is a photo adgent at Fred Fred & Associates - a top tier marketing firm in New York. Either way I absolutely love her style. She is so beautiful. A perfect mix of Chinese and Australian.
She has got it all the long, style-less, shiny hair, the mind-bogglingly oversized hand bag, the high heels paired with black tights at midday, the rock’n’roll body con dresses, the ostentatious fluffy coat and most importantly, the throw away cigarette and bad-ass attitude. Some may say she is a little too "fashionable" but I love her! I don't see my love affair with her fading anytime time soon.

Save The Date
Adam and I really wanted to do something creative for our Save The Date's. We were really racking our brains trying to come up with something original. Adam suggest that we do something Wes Anderson style since we bot LOVE all of his films and adore his "old" money ascetic. I got on the internet and looked up some images for Wes Anderson. I quickly found this photo of Margot and Richie from one of my favorite movie's The Royal Tenenbaums.
I love how they are looking at each other. It is almost expressionless but you can see the slightest bit of warm sympathy in Margot face. So we got the outfits, found a parking garage, and shot the photo ourselves using a tripod.
We wanted the image reference to be obvious, so we added the Royal Tenenbaums font.
Here is the result.
I thought, WOW this is perfect!

Pretty close, huh? :)

Kelly Jung Photos
A old friend of mine came over to my house to take some fun pictures for her portfolio. She wanted natural shots of me and the family hanging around the house. Here are some of my favorites.

Bikini Fever
I have been wanting to purchase just about every bikini I have seem for the last couple of weeks. Maybe it is because I have been working out so vigorously that now I have a bikini appropriate body. I want to wear a bikini to the park, to the zoo, to the grocery store, to the moon. Everywhere! I have been really digging American Apparels swimsuit line. Suits are very plain but the cuts are phenomenal. They look great on.
